Travel Approval!!!!!!

We received our Travel Approval today!!!! We will be leaving May 16 + /- 1 day. Kai will be joining our family on May 21. I will post more details when we have our travel arranged. Right now I've got too much to do! :)

Important Dates

8/16/06 - Request for Information about Kai
9/5/06 - LOI: Letter of Intent to adopt Kai sent to China
10/4/06 - PA: Preliminary Approval received from China for our adoption
12/8/06- DTC: Dossier sent to China containing certified and authenticated paperwork about our family required for the adoption
1/8/07- LID: Log In Date. This is the day that the Chinese government recognized the receipt of our dossier and started processing our paperwork
4/3/07 - LOA - Letter of Acceptance: This let us know that China has approved our application and will allow us to adopt Kai!
4/24/07 - TA and CA - We received our Travel Approval and Consulate Appointment today. Our Consulate appointment is 5/29, so we'll be leaving in about 3 weeks!
