Important Dates
- 8/16/06 - Request for Information about Kai
- 9/5/06 - LOI: Letter of Intent to adopt Kai sent to China
- 10/4/06 - PA: Preliminary Approval received from China for our adoption
- 12/8/06- DTC: Dossier sent to China containing certified and authenticated paperwork about our family required for the adoption
- 1/8/07- LID: Log In Date. This is the day that the Chinese government recognized the receipt of our dossier and started processing our paperwork
- 4/3/07 - LOA - Letter of Acceptance: This let us know that China has approved our application and will allow us to adopt Kai!
- 4/24/07 - TA and CA - We received our Travel Approval and Consulate Appointment today. Our Consulate appointment is 5/29, so we'll be leaving in about 3 weeks!
