Fun with Dad
We had a great dinner tonight. Terri's friend Wiki who lives in Guangzhou went with us, so not only did we have some great company but we also were able to order exactly what we wanted at the restaurant thanks to her.
Kai has been charming everyone he meets. He and Eva both shook hands with nearly everyone that approached them at the restaurant. The two of them have been clowning around together quite a bit. In the video, Eva couldn't quite get Kai's attention, but generally they play quite well together... when they're not squabbling over some coveted toy.
It was Terri's birthday today! Unfortunately our schedule changed, and instead of spending her birthday on a dinner cruise on the river, we ended up going to a shopping mall and a Pizza Hut with two other adoptive families. There were 14 of us, including 6 kids all under the age of 5... not exactly a relaxing or enjoyable time. Hopefully we can give her a little time relax tomorrow!

Good Morning! I had just checked the blog for an update, walked away, checked back, and here was a lovely video. Yea! Did you guys get to the temple? What did you eat? How has the vegetarian been managing? Regarding Terri's Birthday - she secretly LOVES malls! In fact, I'm going to take her shopping when y'all get home. (I've been in Texas - y'all.) See you soon!!!
Oh! I didn't notice that you put more photos in PhotoBucket. Eva's got a beautiful new dress and umbrella. Kai is really a good looking guy! Do I notice a little bit of curl in his hair?!
Oooh la la -- Eva's got quite the stunning new frock. Give her a snuggle from her ol' pal. And the video of Kai is hysterical -- I'm sitting alone in my living room laughing. I wish M were here to see it; I hope it still will play on Tuesday when he gets back (and N comes in!). Glad you guys are having such a grand time. It sounds like Terri has made a wonderful difference; how smart and lucky for you to have her along. And I hope Mary hasn't had to spend too much time working her non-mom job. Love to you all.
